Sinziana Dorobantu

As an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizations at New York University Stern School of Business, Sinziana Dorobantu focuses on the value and evolution of firms’ relationships with local communities, NGOs, and governments. Her research provides direct empirical evidence that increasing stakeholder support enhances the firm’s financial valuation and helps the company protect this value during difficult times. Dorobantu’s research also examines the evolution of these relationships, the formalization of these relationships into contractual agreements, and the formation of international partnerships to manage stakeholder relations in large infrastructure projects.
